Forza Horizon 5 is a racing video game with an open world environment setting in Mexico. It features the largest map among the Forza Horizon series, and is 50% more extensive than the map in Forza Horizon 4. The new map also bears the highest point in the Horizon series. The city of Guanajuato along with several towns are shown in the game.
Geographical features like; ancient Mayan temples, an active caldera volcano, including beaches and jungles are all built into the map, and are visible during gameplay.

Forza Horizon 5 players are able to visit locations unhindered, and can play against others in multiplayer races, and finish up in the campaign mode. Customisation of cars, and player character can be done progressively in Forza Horizon 5. The game is actually the first in the franchise to have ray tracing support, which is available exclusively in Forzavista.
Players of Forza Horizon 5 are equiped with in-store tools to tweak custom liveries and tunes for cars. Also, drivetrain and engine swaps, including installation of body kits are enabled on some cars.
Forza Horizon 5 was released on 9th november, 2021 across Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One gaming platforms.
